Trousse

"Trousse" is the name of the old molding process in foundry which consists in scraping the sand to create the mold. The mold of Cassus was made this way. Inspired by this technique, I have used a mix of sand and acrylic to draw the modular black shape and play with texture and light.
Cassus, Caleo and this wall piece are a researching serie about cast iron process and black objects.
